I am currently a fourth year PhD student in the developmental psychology program at Penn State University under the mentorship of Dr. Koraly Perez-Edgar. My research investigates how individuals develop a sense of their own bodies (interoception) and how this impacts dyadic peer and parent-child physiological and attentional coordination. To investigate these questions I use a variety of methodological approaches including computer vision and machine learning, Bayesian hierarchical modeling, longitudinal and dynamic structural equation modeling, amongst others.
